Did you know that Albert Einstein was thought to be developmentally disabled by his teachers, and one of them even tried to expel him because he just sat in the back of the room smiling all day? It’s true! He also struggled through college, and even struggled to find a job in his field. He still believed in himself enough, though, to spend time in the evenings, after evaluating patent applications all day, to write a few papers on how he thought physics worked. And lo and behold, and in 1905, at the ripe old age of 26, he published four of these papers that ended up revolutionizing the field of physics and birthed, among other things, the Special Theory of Relativity and his famous equation, E = mc2!!!
So….. I ask you: what messages are you getting about your abilities that you can flat-out ignore? And what are you working on in your private time that has the potential to change the world?
