All I Wanna Do Is Have Some Fun

Hello Bloggin’ Babes~

First, let me say what an inspiration you are to me! Thanks to all of you for sharing your joys and sorrows so openly.

I don’t have much news to report from the cornfields of Illinois. I am busy trying to finish out the academic year without too much chaos, then onto Evanston, Illinois for a summer of city life-yoga, dance classes, bike rides, shows, concerts, baseball games, etc.

I know it doesn’t sound very risky, but it sort of is. Somewhere along the way, I lost my groove-spiritually, artistically, physically…and I really have no clue as to what the next step is. I’m too busy to be upset about it, plus I feel good about the fact that I’m making a positive difference in my student’s lives.

However, I know there’s more. I can feel it. I want it. I need it. I’m open to it, but it just hasn’t happened yet. So, off we go (with our three cats in tow!) for an adventure. Maybe I’ll reignite my divine spark or maybe I’ll just get a really great tan! But one thing’s for sure….there’s no way to get a groove back without FUN! (insert Cyndi Lauper, Sheryl Crow or your favorite summertime song ;-)

risked it ALL and moved to the cornfields of West Central Illinois where she found her dream man and her dream job. She can hardly wait to see what the Universe has in store for the rest of her life and is even more excited to see what happens on everyone else's journeys!! Let's share in each other's joys and sorrows.

Well, Evanston is the place to be baby!!! I think you are co-habitating with me in Patienceville. I think we don’t recognize this plane of existence, let alone think it is worth revelling in. Apparently it is on the route (maybe repeatedly) and not to be missed.

Have you checked out this teacher?

I recently got some CD’s and they are showing me the value in or reason for what often feels like a stuck place.

Yeah, Abraham Hicks! I’ll definitely check it out. Thanks Babe!! Btw, it’s not so much “stuck” as it is know that something’s about to change-I just don’t know when or what. The present has its ups and downs, but it’s still a pretty cool place to be.

I guess my brush swept too broadly– in the words of Emily Litella, “Nevermind.”

  4. Hey, Kitty – I hope you are happily settled – not to be confused with settling – in your summer digs. Can’t wait to hear more. (By the way, are you able to come to the teleclass on the 19th? I’d LOVE to have you there… Check this out: http://www.truevoices.com/byol-essentials, and let me know what you think!)

  5. Kitty says:

Hi Laura! We move the “stuff” up on Sunday and the kitties up next Thursday. The last two Wednesdays were no-goes for me, but hopefully the 19th will work. Btw, do you know the song “Live Out Loud” from The Little Princess? I always think of it whenever I see the title of your Forum. You can find various performances of it on Youtube. Love you!
